Jill is a founder member of Triskele Books and co-founder of The Woolf Quarterly, regular columnist for Words with JAM and Displaced Nation, reviewer for Bookmuse and author of The Beatrice Stubbs series (featured in The Guardian Readers’ Recommend and The Bookseller’s Editor’s Choice).

Originally from Wales, she now lives in Switzerland with her husband and dogs.

Co-founder of The Woolf Quarterly and WriteCon, Libby O’Loghlin is a novelist and prize-winning short story writer who has written, produced and reviewed narrative media (radio, film, TV, gaming, digital and print publishing) for 20+ years. In 2015, her debut novel was longlisted for the Bath Children’s Novel Award.

A native Australian, Libby now lives in Switzerland and works as a writing and narrative coach and advisor.

Liam is the author of Paralian, a memoir. He was born in Central Europe and has since lived on four continents. Liam has always been engaged in creative pursuits, ranging from photography and graphic design, to writing short stories and poetry, to working in theatre and shows. He is currently working on his second book.

Lindsey Grant is an American writer and editor who has been living in Switzerland since 2013.

She co-authored the writer’s workbook Ready, Set, Novel!, and she went on to publish her memoir Sleeps with Dogs in 2014. She is the former Program Director for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo).

In addition to her regular contributions to The Woolf, she blogs (ir)regularly and is currently chronicling her family’s history with the BRCA2 cancer gene.

Originally from Canada, Barbara’s spent over half her life in Switzerland. She’s worked as a corporate writer, presentation coach, proposal advisor, tree planter, Santa’s helper and deputy sheriff.

Barbara is a chocolate fan who does copywriting, in that order. When she’s not writing or editing for clients – Barbara’s inventing funny pictures with her iPad. She can also be found avoiding chores and sketching Zürich while balancing a Café Crème on her knee.

Jim (J. Rushing) is an American writer whose work blends elements of adventure, fantasy, science fiction, and horror to create worlds that feel as familiar as they do foreign. He is a former teacher who traded the microbreweries and Cascade Mountains of the Pacific Northwest for raclette, chocolate, and the Swiss Alps. He and his wife live in Baden, near Zürich and spend much of their time traveling and immersing themselves in the outdoors.

Rebekah Miron recently graduated with a Distinction from her Master’s degree in Creative Writing at the University of Cambridge. Her poems have been published in print and online. In recent years, her writing has been shortlisted for the VanderMey Non-Fiction Prize and broadcast by Project Censored.

Originally from the South West of England, Rebekah is currently living in Switzerland while editing her first novel.

Laurie’s writing adventure began at a conference in 2012. Two days in and she was hooked. Since then her words have been published in collections by Cafe Aphra, Flash Flood Journal, The Ham Free Press, One Hundred Voices, Into the Void, Reflex Fiction, Offshoots, and Before the Diagnosis. Her debut middle grade book “Swisstory: The Untold, Bloody, and Absolutely Real History of Switzerland” will be published in October 2019.

She’s fairly sure she’s now hopelessly addicted to writing.

Tess is an American writer who left her life in New York City to move to Switzerland in 2016. She has worked in Marketing and PR for five years and has a typically millenial passion for all things social media. She runs a travel blog called FemaleHemingway.com, and when she’s not reading, writing, or tweeting, you can find her in a cafe somewhere, drinking a cappuccino (or glass of vino) and probably talking about what she’s reading, writing, or tweeting. 

In 2015, Tess published a short story called “Getting There” in an anthology for upcoming writers under 30. She is expanding that story into a novel.

Louise is a writer, originally from England, who has been living in Zurich, Switzerland since 2012. She is our Swiss Book Fairy: a worldwide book sharing project created in 2017 to encourage the love of reading and spreading the magic of books. She and her three daughters have hidden over 500 books throughout Switzerland since they started their Book Fairy journeys in 2018.

Louise is a children’s writer, her key focus being on picture books. She has had a number of articles published in various online magazines and enjoys a spot of guest blogging about mental health.

She can normally be found chatting about children’s book diversity over brunch or with a glass of wine in hand!

D.B. is an American writer who has been living in Europe since 1995.

As well as being a regular contributor to The Woolf, her essays, short stories and offbeat profiles have appeared in The Weeklings and Split Lip Magazine.

She also writes for hire but, as the expression goes, that’s another story.

A Swiss native, Susan is a multilingual communications professional, business executive, word & tech nerd.

She was part of the original launch and editorial team behind Swiss movie magazine close-up! and has written, ghostwritten and edited for several publications and in-house magazines in English, German, French and Italian.

Susan is a co-founder of Swisspaleo, a board member of The Powerhouse Network for Professional Women in Zürich and blogs yonder at Swissbizchick and SwissSmallBizBootcamp.
